While Open BIM is a preferred method for BIM workflows, there will be times you need to collaborate with Revit users who may not be as well versed in the Open BIM approach. Thanks to the new Revit Export based on the ODA BIM library, Vectorworks can now export .RVT and .RFA files, giving you the ability to work confidently with consultants. In this first iteration of the export, all 3D Vectorworks objects will export as Direct Shape Type objects with geometry in Revit.
