SPOTLIGHT RIGGING + BRACEWORKS


This class offers an in-depth exploration of Vectorworks Spotlight rigging tools, catering not only to riggers but also to technical directors (TDs), lighting designers (LDs), sound engineers, video designers, and scenic designers—essentially anyone involved in managing flown elements. The class is structured in two main parts to provide a holistic understanding and practical application of these tools.

Part 1 focuses on the Vectorworks Spotlight rigging tools. This section will equip you with the knowledge to properly assemble a rigging system. Part 2 is tailored specifically for riggers. You will learn how to conduct precise load calculations using Braceworks.

Each chapter begins with short skill videos introducing a particular tool or command. Followed by in-depth concept videos that explore various options and their detailed applications. In addition, you will complete several hands-on exercises, to apply your newfound knowledge effectively.

By the end of this class, you will have a thorough understanding of the Vectorworks Spotlight rigging tools and an understanding of how to perform complex load calculations with Braceworks, making you proficient in handling all aspects of flown elements in your productions.
