Working in the provided file and its saved views, you'll use the Dims/Notes tool set to apply Constrained Linear, Unconstrained Linear, Angular, and Radial dimensions to rectangles, an angled shape, a path, a planting layout, and a hardscape layout. Along the way you'll practice chain dimensioning and use the Object Info palette to override a dimension value and change precision to eliminate fractions. You'll finish by exporting both saved views into a single PDF using the Publish tool with your name in the file name.
Next you'll use the Text tool with existing text styles to place your name, class, and date on guidelines, then create two new text styles of your own to build a plant label with common and scientific names. You'll assemble a plant label with a quantity bubble from a circle, line, and text — adjusting size, alignment, and fills, and centering the number with the Move by Points tool. The second half moves to automated labeling with the Callout tool, plant tags, and Data Tags for plants, landscape areas, and hardscapes, finishing with an image export of both pages.
