This two-part assignment takes a drawing from raw base map to presentation-ready sheet. First you'll import a PDF base map into a design layer and use the Tape Measure and Scale Objects tools to rescale it so the longest property line measures a true 150 feet, then reason through which drawing scale fits a 24" page — comparing 1/4", 1/8", and 1"=10' — set the layer to 1/8" = 1', create a cropped viewport on the sheet layer, and export a 300 DPI PDF. In the second part you'll insert a Title Block Border, edit its style to fit the page, customize the title block layout with your own project and course fields, and enter sheet data such as sheet title and drawn-by name. You'll close out by creating a placeholder viewport at 1/8" scale and adding a north arrow and checkered scale bar inside the viewport annotations before exporting and submitting your work.
