TRANSOM (US), FANLIGHT (UK)
The Transom (US) or Fanlight (UK) pane contains parameters for the window's transom/fanlight. We will survey a few of its key features, but for a full breakdown of all its fields, please visit the Help page.
Key Features
Sash: The fields beneath this heading set the dimensional values for the sash. If you do not want a sash, set the values to zero.
Note: The Sash Offset value moves the sash forward toward the exterior face of the wall (positive value) or backward toward the interior face of the wall (negative value).
Mullion (US), Transom Bar (UK): These parameters are used to set the width and depth of the horizontal bar separating the transom/fanlight from the window sash below. Check the Use frame depth checkbox to set the mullion/transom bar's depth to match the frame depth.
Muntins (US), Glazing Bars (UK): As with most glazed elements, you can add muntins/glazing bars to the transom/fanlight. Check Include muntins/glazing bars to activate the fields below.
