ROOM PLAN & PHOTOS TO 3D UPDATE

With the new updates to Vectorworks Nomad, you can quickly scan any room layout using Vectorworks Nomad on any LiDAR-enabled iOS device using the new Room Plan. With Apple’s room-scanning framework, RoomPlan, Nomad can now produce a model with classified geometry such as walls, windows, openings, doors, and more. Then easily upload your model to Vectorworks Cloud and import it into Vectorworks to continue designing.

In addition, you can save time creating 3D models with major upgrades to the Photos to 3D Model feature. Vectorworks Nomad is now integrated with Apple’s new Object Capture, so you’ll be able to create 3D models from photos faster, more reliably, and more efficiently than ever. And Object Capture uses data from supported iOS devices to recover the size and orientation of the object, making your models more accurate.
