To earn your certification, you must successfully pass the certification exam, with a score of 80% or higher. There are no restrictions on how many times you can retake the exam. If you do not pass on your first attempt, we recommend reviewing the certification courses and trying again. By passing the Vectorworks Core Certification exam and receiving this certification you will demonstrate to employers and clients that you are
competent in core Vectorworks tools, commands, and workflows.

The on-demand Vectorworks Core Certificaiton course will help you build a strong foundation and enhance your Vectorworks skills. This course is designed for both new users from any industry, as well as existing users who are self-taught but feel there are gaps in their knowledge. The course covers core Vectorworks concepts, tools, and commands essential for your work—whether you’re focused on buildings and interiors (Architect), landscapes (Landmark), or entertainment design (Spotlight).

Duration: ~16 hours
Requirements: Installed and activated license for Vectorworks 2025 or newer.
Prerequisites: This is a beginner-level course. No prior experience with Vectorworks or other CAD software is required. Familiarity with basic drafting concepts and terminology is recommended.
