Vectorworks Coffee Breaks are casual online learning sessions, that give you the opportunity to learn about different Vectorworks topics. You will interact with the trainers and ask questions throughout. We have chosen to run these sessions online to
broaden their reach and enable you to add to your skills without leaving your desk. Live sessions are available to all our customers.
This new feature in Update 4 makes managing renovation or multi‑stage projects simpler than ever. You’ll learn how to track what’s staying, what’s new, and what’s being removed, all in one organized system. Phasing keeps your drawings clean and accurate by automatically updating how things look and where they belong as your project moves through each stage. It’s a great way to save time, reduce confusion, and show exactly how your design will come to life.

Coffee Break - MVR: From Light Plot to Console and Back
MVR or 'My Virtual Rig' is a file format that allows you to exchange the data and geometry of your show between CAD programs, visualizers, and your lighting console. This Coffee Break, done in conjunction with ACT Entertainment, will show the workflow of designing in Vectorworks, transferring the data to our MA3 lighting console over MVR-xchange, making changes in the console, and sending it back to update our light plot. We'll discuss best practices and strategies for a seamless workflow.
